Aesop’s Legacy Animal Rescue helps vulnerable dogs and cats find safety, care, and loving homes. Every rescue is treated with compassion, dignity, and the chance to begin again.

We focus on immediate rescue, rehabilitation, foster support, and safe placement into forever homes through careful adoption and community help.
Adoption
Lulu is a sensitive soul who finds the shelter world a little bit scary. While she might start off with a nervous bark or a tucked tail, it doesn’t take long for her true, sweet colors to shine through.
Luna is wonderful with kids, loves being part of the action, and fits right into family life.
He’s happy, settled, and thriving — the kind of dog who fits right into daily life and makes it better.
He’s the perfect balance — always up for an adventure, but just as happy being a full-on couch potato.

Fundraiser for animals
Dextor is a good dog who just needs a little extra guidance. He struggles with reactivity, and with the right training, structure, and support, he has so much potential to thrive. Training is the bridge between where he is now and the life he deserves. We are raising funds to get Dextor the professional training he needs so he can confidently move into a forever home and succeed long-term. Dextor deserves the chance to learn, grow, and be someone’s forever dog.

Lobo was supposed to die. We couldn’t let that happen. He was terrified, shut down, and running out of time. We pulled him from the shelter on the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. Now he’s safe—but safety isn’t enough yet. Lobo needs urgent professional training to heal from fear and trauma so he doesn’t lose this second chance. We started a GoFundMe to give him the time and help he deserves.

The best news for my favorite couple. Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil are officially ADOPTED — together, forever. After everything they’ve been through, they now have the most incredible new parents and acres of land to run, relax, and live the life they always deserved.
At just 9 weeks old, she was scheduled to be euthanized at San Bernadino Shelter because she had a cloudy eye and was lethargic. But hours after she left the shelter and saw the vet… everything changed. The little puppy who looked so sick and shut down suddenly came to life. Sound up for those puppy barks and look at her, trying to bury her toy. Today, Opal — now Nola — has found her forever home.
